    A. No, the Lynx Evo will diagnose all models in one Land Rover family, all Discovery’s for example.

  • Q. Will Lynx Evo diagnose faults on other vehicle manufacturer’s models?

    A. No, Lynx Evo is only for Land Rover models.

  • Q. What if I have a problem?

  • Q. What languages is Lynx Evo in?

    A. Lynx Evo is currently in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian & Dutch.

  • Q. The Lynx Evo doesn’t carry out all the functions on my Land Rover. Why?

    A. The software information released by Land Rover influences what Lynx Evo can control or monitor.

  • Q. Does Lynx Evo show SRS (safety restraint system) faults?

    A. Yes, see coverage chart.

  • Q. Should I use a battery charger when using Lynx Evo?

    A. Fifteen minutes of operation using your Land Rover’s power supply is fine, any more than that we would recommend using a battery charger on trickle charge.

  • Q. On my Range Rover P38 will Lynx Evo allow you to cycle the blend motors in HEVAC in order to reset them?

    A. Yes, the Lynx Evo function is ‘Stepper Motor Initialisation’.

  • Q. Will Lynx Evo be able to control the later Land Rover towing electrics?

    A. No.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo code in replacement fuel injectors on a Td5 engine?

    A. Yes Lynx Evo can.

  • Q. Is Lynx Evo capable of programming the air suspension ride height on a Discovery 2?

    A. Lynx Evo can programme the air suspension height using calibration blocks to standard factory ride height.

  • Q. Will Lynx Evo look at and reset the EPB, ABS & SRS on Discovery 3 & Discovery 4’s?

    A. EPB - Yes, ABS - Yes & SRS - Yes

  • Q. Does Lynx Evo cover the diagnostics of the air suspension system of the Discovery 3?

    A. Yes Lynx Evo does.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo diagnose and calibrate the suspension ride height on my Discovery 3, Discovery 4 or Range Rover Sport?

    A. Yes Lynx Evo does.

  • Q. On a Range Rover Classic, does Lynx Evo work on the engine only or all the systems in a soft dash?

    A. With the right leads it will work on the engine, air suspension and ABS.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo reset the adaptive valves for the Bosch M5 2.1 on a Range Rover P38?

    A. Yes Lynx Evo can.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo unlock the BECM?

    A. Lynx Evo cannot do this.

  • Q. Can you change your clock and reset your fuel consumption figures?

    A. No Lynx Evo is unable to do this, resetting this is done on the vehicle centre console.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo raise the suspension each corner at a time on a Range Rover L322?

    A. No this is not a feature of Lynx Evo.

  • Q. Can Lynx Evo do reflash of software, resynching a system, for example: amplifier, radio and navigation system?

    A. No Lynx Evo is not capable of reflashing the software as it is a diagnostics tool.

  • Q. Can it reset EPB (electronic park brake) for installation of new rear brakes?

    A. Lynx Evo can perform a service reset on the EPB to fit new brake shoes.

  • Q. Will Lynx Evo cover Webasto fuel burning heater, Sawdoc immobiliser, instrumentation and body control on a Freelander 1?

    A. Yes Lynx Evo will cover those systems.

  • Q. I have a Defender 2.4 Tdci - will Lynx Evo do the following?

    A. Allow programming of replacement fuel injectors? Allow power bleed of the ABS system? Coding of new key plips to the 10AS? Yes Lynx Evo will do this.
